Natalia Matveeva graduated from the State Higher Educational Institution “Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian University” in 1995 with a specialty “Russian Language and Literature” and received the qualification of a teacher of Russian language and literature
From 1988 to 2000 she worked as a secretary of the Dean of the Pedagogical Faculty of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian University, and from 2000 to 2009 – as a Methodist in the correspondence department of the Pedagogical Faculty of the same university.
Since 2005 – Assistant of the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education of the Pedagogical Institute.
From 2004 to 2008 – studied at the postgraduate course in the specialty 13.00.01 “General Pedagogy and History of Pedagogy” of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. In 2009 she defended her PhD thesis on the topic: “Organization of scientific and methodological work with teachers of elementary school in Ukraine (1945-1990)” and received a scientific degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences.
In 2013 he was awarded the rank of associate professor of the chair of theory and methodology of elementary education.
In 2014, she took an internship at the Department of General and Social Pedagogy of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and in 2016 – refresher courses in Helm (Zavodova Higher School, Poland). Topic: “Wykorrzystania zaawansowanych technologii informatycznych w zarzadzaniu instytucjami edukacyjnymi”.
Author of 16 textbooks, more than 80 articles in professional and other scientific publications; co-author of collective monographs.
Participant in the All-Ukrainian and International scientific-practical conferences, the Ukrainian-Polish project “Culture, historia, traducja w poszukiwaniu wspolnych wartosci” (2016) and the International project “Development of a culture of democracy in teacher education in Ukraine, Norway and Palestine” (2018/2020).
He is actively working on the departmental scientific theme: “The development of the personality of the younger student in the mountain school.”
The field of scientific interests includes various aspects of the organization of inclusive education at school, educational work with students on the formation of tolerant attitude towards persons with special needs, advanced training of elementary school teachers and their level of pedagogical skills, etc.
Provides reading subjects: “Fundamentals of pedagogy with admission to the specialty”, “Fundamentals of inclusive education”, “Philosophy of inclusive education”, “Fundamentals of inclusive pedagogy with admission to the specialty”.
Supervises master’s works, student’s scientific articles.
