Iryna Gumeniuk obtained the Master’s degree in the Ukrainian language and literature of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University in 2000, qualifying as a philologist, a teacher of the Ukrainian language and literature.In 2004 a Ph.D thesis entitled „Structural and semantic functions of interjections in the Ukrainian language” was defended. Since then she became a University Lecturer at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. She was promoted to Associate Professor in 2009. She teaches a course of the Ukrainian language for professional purposes.She has written numerous articles on various aspects on educating language personality of a primary school pupils and forming linguistic identity in a multistage system of education: experiences, realities and prospects.Her research and scientific interests are related to: Linguadidactic basis of a communicative competence of students in comprehensive schools; Training university students for forming linguistic identity of school children.
Iryna Gumenyuk is a university mentor and facilitator for gifted students.She is responsible for distant learning organization in department of philology and methods of primary education. She chairs the section of professional speaking.
She received science and professional training in University of Rzeszow (Poland).
Member of Science counsel of Pedagogical institute.
Her productive scientific work and education of the youth has been awarded by diplomas of the Department of Education and Science of Ivano-Frankivsk region State Administration, university administration.
She lives and works in Ivano-Frankivsk.
Iryna Gumeniuk is an author of over 70 scientific papers.
